The last week of July I spent in Saint Petersburg. I had already learned Russian in university, but I had never managed to visit the country. Now it was my first time in Russia, I really enjoyed it and I will definitely be back. In Saint Petersburg I attended a language course, but I also had free time, of course. Above you can see the Church on Spilled Blood.

Another photo of the church. I took it while going for a stroll on the so-called “Field of Mars”.

The famous museum of art “The Hermitage”. However, I have not been inside, because the queue was very long and I would have waited for hours…

The cathedral of Saint Peter and Paul at the Peter and Paul fortress. It is well worth it to go up the tower, one has a great view all over the city.

This is “Peterhof”. It is located a bit outside of the city at the seaside. The huge park with all the different fountains is really impressive.
