This summer I spent three weeks in South-West Florida with my family. It was the first time I’ve ever been to the US. I really enjoyed it and I will definitely be back! 🙂

The photo above was taken at Ybor City, the oldest part of Tampa.

An "entrance" to the beach of Naples

Here you can see the beach of Naples. We only spent a few minutes there, then there was a thunderstorm and it kept on raining for the rest of the day……

The following photos were all taken in Miami. The city is really impressive.

The Everglades – an exceeding wildlife habitat

One day we visited Sanibel Island and Captiva Island. I’ve never seen so many shells at one place before.

Sanibel Island, a paradise for those who like collecting shells :) A thunderstorm appearing at Captiva Island

We also went to Key West by boat. A turquoise sea does not only exist on postcards. 😉

Arriving at Key West by boat

The last day of our vacation my mum and I went on a boat trip and one of my childhood dreams was fulfilled: I saw dolphins!
