This week’s challenge is about finding something that endures. I chose two photos of the “Mother’s Oak” in Hechingen. The huge tree is about 1,300 years old. The trunk has now broken into pieces. However, as a forester told me, the tree is not really dead yet, because the wood is still a living space for small animals.
